Peanut Butter Split Smoothie

Makes 1 serving, 4 ounces of milk per serving

Ingredients

1 ripe banana, peeled quartered and frozen
1/2 cup nonfat milk
1/4 cup plain nonfat yogurt
1 1/2 tablespoons creamy natural peanut butter

Directions

This smoothie is a great way to use overripe bananas. Just peel them, cut them into chunks, and freeze them in a plastic bag. Then they'll be at the ready when you need them.Put all the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.

325 calories; 12.5 g fat; 1.5 g saturated fat; 13.5 g protein; 43.5 g carbohydrates; 4.5 g fiber; 3 mg cholesterol; 190 mg sodium.

Excellent source of calcium, fiber, protein, vitamin B6 and vitamin C. Also a good source of manganese, potassium, vitamin A and vitamin D.
